In the eighteenth year of the Zhenguan era, deep in the imperial palace, the beloved little princess Xiao Sizi was happily scribbling all over The Complete Tang Poems with her childish strokes. Who could have guessed that a sudden burst of light would sweep her into a time vortex and send her tumbling into a modern village?
At the village shop, Lin Yu was enjoying a quiet afternoon and leafing through an old book. He was dozing when a faint cry woke him. When an adorable child from ancient times meets a young man from the modern world, everyday life becomes a comedy of errors. Xiao Sizi thinks phones are monsters and shrieks at cars, yet can’t get enough of snacks. As Lin Yu looks after her, he too is touched by her innocent, carefree nature. As they grow closer, Lin Yu discovers that the mysterious handwriting in The Complete Tang Poems may hold the secret to sending Xiao Sizi home.
