The thing Cheng Xi regretted most in her life was walking into that forest on a gloomy afternoon.
Feng Cheng, the master of the Rose Manor, coveted the rare Vermilion Bird blood in her veins. He pursued her relentlessly and forced her to sign an unfair blood pact.
He treated the human girl as his exclusive prey, scheming against her, controlling her, and forcing her to obey, all in an attempt to tame the disobedient pet. Cheng Xi refused to give him his way. She acted meek and ingratiating on the surface, while secretly plotting how to stab him in the back.
In this twisted game where sickness and love intertwined, the two remained entangled, each scheming against the other.
Feng Cheng thought he would always be the one in control. He never imagined that the human girl had already tamed his wild nature.
The Wen clan had been hiding among ordinary people, refined and courteous, yet they showed Cheng Xi their most primal side.
They all wanted to possess her.
Under the thrilling laws of survival in this strange world, perhaps the true hunters had already switched places...
I finished reading it in one go. It is a rare treasure novel for me. I added it to my bookshelf a long time ago, and I picked it up again yesterday. I was fascinated by it as soon as I read it. The writing is very good, and every character is well created. I cried and laughed while reading it. The only thing that made me feel regretful was the emotional line between the male supporting characters and the female protagonist, and my obsession with the female protagonist's imprisonment. Fengcheng, William who is eager to influence the heroine in three years, the bamboo horse who has been secretly in love with the heroine for many years, and the misunderstandings between the heroine and Wen Zhou, these are all full of sourness. Fortunately, she married Wen Nian in the end, and Wen Nian cured the heroine. (Woooooh😭 It would be great if all the male partners could be included) Such a good book should not be buried, and should be seen by more people
For me, the gothic dark violent aesthetics really tickle my fancy. It's not too greasy, and can even be written in a very exaggerated and gorgeous way. It has a lot of room for imagination and play, making it easy to create freely. The setting at the beginning was: the werewolf Wen brothers fell in love with Cheng Xi at first sight, and started various male and female Shura arenas. But as I read on, I gave up on this setting and couldn't help but add a gentle undertone to them. Their feelings are warm and pure, with a certain nature of the werewolves in my fantasy. When the two brothers face external threats, they can always unite to protect Xixi. And the vampire Fengcheng is a reflection of some secret xp in my heart. His feelings are too complicated. Maybe he didn't like Xixi much at first. His feelings for her were complicated emotions intertwined with twisted possessiveness, morbid obsession, and unknowing deep love. Like a glass of old red wine mixed with poison, it looks mellow but is deadly. I think this kind of emotion is full of the unique contradictory aesthetics of vampires, and the writing is particularly smooth and emotional. This kind of emotion is intense and impure, and some people may not be able to accept it, but I really like this kind of tension-filled drama.
The emotional description is very delicate, and it is written about the crazy male protagonist that I prefer ➕ Taking things by force (I am a native dog haha) Sihasha Dahuang girl is my favorite~ The plot is not procrastinating, and the writing is good. To be honest, it is better than many books on the list. The author is great! Keep up the good work and look forward to your next book!!
I want bamboo horse to be served too!!!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 Bamboo horses are served!!!!! There are already many male protagonists anyway, so one more sweetheart is nothing, right? 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺
This is the second book I have read by this author. The writing is very smooth and the story pace is fast. I look forward to the author's stable performance!!! If Fengcheng and Wennian really can't do it, let Chengxi accept it!!!
It's good to watch, but I feel like the "conspiracy theory" could have been written more. It's a bit unremarkable, but it doesn't affect the main plot.
Look good, good, good
