After watching the movie, I fell so hard for Tornado. So I decided to write myself a female protagonist to indulge the author's… tastes. In those dark years, there was no light to be seen. At least she had her beloved friends and family by her side. The twilight of Kowloon Walled City always carried a stench of blood. What seeped through the cracks in the flagstones wasn't rainwater, but blood from the alleyways that hadn't yet dried. On a summer night in 1973, Zhang Shaozu, the leader of the Dragon City Gang, stood atop the ruined lighthouse at Heki Pier, twirling his twin hooks in his palm until they formed silver circles. He gazed across the water at the sign of the Blue Sky Society, its three gilded characters reflected in the chilling gleam of Chen Zhan's sickle.
