I'll Never Be Able to Repay the Uchiha's Kindness

Question: “What’s the most important ability for surviving on the battlefield?”

Master An: “Obviously, knowing when to retreat!”

Question: “As an Uchiha, how do you survive the night of the massacre?”

Master An: “Obviously, retreat in advance!”

Question: “But what about your clan?”

Master An: “Friend, are you crazy? We’re honorable shinobi, devoid of emotion! They taught us at the Academy that shinobi shouldn’t form emotional bonds. We’re just tools for carrying out missions!”

Question: “How do you survive in the shinobi world after retreating again and again?”

Master An: “Start your own hidden village. Once you’re the leader, you can make your way in the shinobi world openly!”

Question: “How can one person start a hidden village?”

Master An: “Obviously...”

Master An has always lived by the motto: If they won’t have me here, there’s somewhere else that will.

If Konoha can’t make room for the Uchiha, he’ll start from scratch. He can still thrive in the shinobi world.

I, Master An, will climb all the way to the top, step by step. I’m going to be Zhao Gao!
