Traditional Chinese medicine, as a treasure of the Chinese nation, has a long history, is extensive and profound. It carries thousands of years of wisdom, integrates philosophy, natural science and human life science, and is a unique medical system. Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the theory of yin and yang and the five elements. It believes that the human body is an organic whole, with various organs, meridians, qi and blood interrelated, and closely related to the natural environment. Through the diagnostic methods of looking, smelling, asking, and cutting, Chinese medicine can fully understand the patient's physical condition. Inspection to observe the complexion and tongue coating; auscultation to identify sounds and smells; interrogation to inquire about symptoms and medical history; incision to determine the rise and fall of qi and blood based on the pulse. In terms of treatment, TCM methods are rich and diverse. Traditional Chinese medicine regulates the internal organs based on the meridian distribution of nature and flavor; acupuncture unblocks the meridians through acupuncture or moxibustion; massage uses manual techniques on the body surface to promote the flow of qi and blood; cupping uses negative pressure to make the cup adsorb to the body surface to achieve the effect of unblocking the meridians and activating the meridians. In addition, traditional Chinese medicine attaches great importance to health care and advocates following nature, eating a reasonable diet, exercising moderately, and regulating emotions. Nourish the liver in spring, nourish the heart in summer, nourish the lungs in autumn, and nourish the kidneys in winter; follow the diet of "five grains for nourishment and five fruits for help"; practice traditional sports such as Tai Chi and Baduanjin regularly; maintain a peaceful mind and avoid excessive emotions. With its unique concepts and methods, traditional Chinese medicine protects people's health and contributes irreplaceable power to the development of human medicine.
