Sunset Over the Mortal World

After reading this book late at night, I felt very heavy. Every character in the book has its own color, Li Yang, Police Officer Li, Jane Eyre, Grandma, Si Qing, Lin Zi, even Police Officer Xiao Zhang, etc., And of course the protagonist Xia Cheng. Maybe as Jane Eyre said, Xia Cheng is a cold person, but in the author's words, Xia Cheng hides his emotions. Maybe he is slow-tempered by nature, but the death of his friend also gave him a heavy blow. This book is somewhat realistic and the whole book is light. A lot of stories have been written in just 28 chapters, and the power of words is still powerful. Especially at the end, I can feel Xia Cheng's sadness and despair [crying]

The sadness is faint, but it seems like the wound is being opened repeatedly. It causes constant pain. People are really sad for no reason. The sunset on earth, those descriptions are really beautiful. So many people have left, but it still has to move forward. There are many profound scenes. The saddest one is the scene where the protagonist drives Si Qing to the hospital. He drives so fast, how painful it must be at that time. The perspective changes very quickly, and it was confusing at first, but this way of writing makes you feel everyone's emotions after reading it.
