Great Tang: I Transmigrated Into Yang Yuhuan's Imperial Couch

Key elements: rebellion and conquest, political intrigue and wits, decisive violence.

Li Zili, who transmigrates onto Yang Yuhuan's bed and is nearly thrown in jail after she mistakes him for a thief, uses an old copy of The Old Book of Tang to get a foothold and begin laying his plans.

Years later, Li Zili has become the greatest talent in Great Tang, its foremost master strategist, the teacher of all its famous ministers and generals, and the man pulling the emperor's strings from behind the scenes. When he decides to become emperor himself, Yang Yuhuan, once an empress, asks the new emperor Li Zili to take her into his harem.

Thinking of everything that has happened, Li Zili decides to make Yang Yuhuan his personal palace maid.

“Want to rise in rank? Give me a proper foot massage first.”

As for the former emperors Li Longji and Li Chang, they've been sent off to sell sweet potatoes. Li Zili figures that an emperor who won't stand up for the people might as well go home and sell sweet potatoes.
