[Rekindled love + older woman/younger man + obsessive + coercive + flirtatious + both leads are sexually inexperienced]
A slow-to-catch-on woman vs. a scheming man
One-line theme: Why does the newcomer come out on top? Because Chang Yu fights tooth and nail for what he wants.
A heroine who only has a soft spot for her husband vs. a hero who only acts pitiful for his wife
⚠️: The early chapters include some high school flashbacks, but the story returns to the present within twenty chapters at most. Chapters with quotation marks in their titles take place in the present.
The first time Huo Zhi met Chang Yu, her younger brother’s classmate, she thought he was far more well-behaved than her brother. Huo Feng only called her “Sis” when he wanted something. But Chang Yu had politely called her “Sister Xiaozhi” the very first time they met. One inexplicable night of drunkenness brought Huo Zhi and this classmate, two years her junior, into bed together, and their relationship became one of sugar mommy and kept boy.
Huo Zhi had been coveting the red mole beneath Chang Yu’s eye for a long time. At last, one rainy night when they were alone in a room, she did what she’d wanted to do since their first meeting, Chang Yu said, “Sister Xiaozhi, you seem to really like the red mole beneath my eye. Do you want to… kiss it now?”
Four years ago, the first time Chang Yu called her by name, he said, “Huo Zhi, happy birthday.”
Four years later, the second time Chang Yu called her by name, he said, “Huo Zhi, I don’t want your pity.”
I want you to love me.
⚠️: The heroine has had a first love. The hero handles everything on his own, responding to every move and fighting tooth and nail for her.
The hero’s famous line: There’s only one Huo Zhi in the world, so you can only be mine.
It's a very nice book. The characters are very three-dimensional. The male and female protagonists both have their own characteristics. More plots for the emotional development of the male and female protagonists! The male protagonist is such a contrast, I love it so much! This is my first time reading this type of novel, I hope the author will update it more!!!
It's pretty good to watch. It doesn't require a real person to tell the story. My eyes are tired from reading it.
