A shock right from the start, 1v1, both leads are romantically inexperienced
Tong Ruixi makes a dramatic entrance, sending her adoptive older sister to the police station and cutting ties with her unscrupulous parents. She thought everyone in the Tong family wanted the original owner dead, but then she discovers a side of her eldest brother no one else knows.
“I hope you can help me protect my big brother, the only brother I have.” Tong Ruixi is baffled by the original owner’s request. They all treated her terribly, so why single out the eldest brother for protection?
Still, out of respect for the dead, she can protect him for a while.
Through the original owner’s brother, Tong Ruixi meets the main branch of the Tong family in Jiangcheng and discovers the strange blood connection between Tong Luosheng and the original owner. So that is the key to how they are related, yet not related. While investigating the Tong family in Jiangcheng, the male and female leads meet by chance, get to know each other, and fall in love. Baili Chuan falls for Tong Ruixi at first sight. She is the only person who cares about him and comforts him after he encounters a supernatural event, telling him not to be afraid.
“Afraid?” Baili Chuan looks at Tong Ruixi, tears still glimmering in his eyes.
“Don’t be scared. I’ll protect you.” Tong Ruixi stands in front of Baili Chuan, her expression resolute, while he hugs her from behind with a smug look on his face.
After resolving the matter, Tong Ruixi returns to Jiangcheng and continues taking part in a worldwide adventure reality show, traveling to all kinds of places to solve mysteries. The only difference is that she now has a human-shaped accessory.
