The Fifth Survivor: Is the Trapper Really the Weakest Hunter?

Games invade reality, overturning social order, and humanity enters the era of Identity V for everyone! With energy running out and resources scarce, countries pour resources into training every player who awakens a special talent, all to compete for the System’s limited rewards! There are countless academy tournaments, pro leagues, and national competitions! Every match affects how resources are divided! Everyone is frantically leveling up and improving their talent skills! On Awakening Day, Lin Yu is assigned by the System to the hunter faction, the one everyone has the least faith in. To make matters worse, his starting character is none other than the notorious leader of the “Jail Nine”: “Jack”! Fortunately, Lin Yu’s companion skin turns out to be the rarest outfit, “Isaac Foster,” with top-tier buff bonuses! More importantly, Lin Yu awakens a special talent that’s an exceptionally rare hidden skill: “Rebellion”! With the help of his “Rebellion” talent, the more pronounced the flaws in a character Lin Yu uses, the stronger the effects of the skills he gains! “A Jack who can turn invisible without a red stain or heartbeat?” “A ridiculously overpowered Nightmare who tears through the whole map?” “A wooden doll who can do it all, from chasing survivors to guarding chairs?” “A Doctor with super armor who absolutely refuses to take a hit?” When Lin Yu uses his “weak hunter” to dominate the competition, every Identity V player is left dumbfounded! Who said the Jail Nine were weak? They’re ridiculously overpowered! And what’s even more despairing for the world’s top survivors is this: By the time Lin Yu’s name appears on the international stage, his character pool already includes version-dominant hunters like the “Lamb” and “Hullabaloo”…
