The Seventh-Day End

[Mystery + Thrills + Wild Imagination] When Lin Xia jolts awake on a rusted operating table, a clock running backward and shackles around her wrists signal the start of something bizarre. In her fragmented memories, a bronze fissure splitting open the sky drags her into an unknown abyss. A skeleton curled up in the corridor, room numbers rearranging themselves in flickering lights, and the bloodstained fire axe of intern doctor Chen Mo unveil the deadly game of the Bronze Sundial. Every hour on the hour, someone is randomly teleported and forced to struggle for survival against a countdown. The two witness a boy in a plaid shirt being swallowed by a wall, the countdown numbers flashing in his pupils a harbinger of death. To escape the collapsing space, they follow a stream of bronze sand into the pharmacy, only to be forced to take on the cruel task of concocting a potion that can “turn back seven minutes.” Blood-written words in a yellowed notebook, boiling bronze potion, and the glowing sundial markings on their foreheads point to fragments of a memory from a stormy night in the operating room: a doctor wearing a bronze mask, blood dripping from an hourglass chandelier. It all hints that this is a meticulously engineered prison of time and space. As the corridor turns into a waterfall of sand and a little girl draws a warning hourglass on the window, Lin Xia and Chen Mo must unravel the lies behind the formula and tear open the truth of this deadly game before time and space collapse completely.
