Ordered to destroy a plague demon, she fought it for two days. Though she ultimately killed it, its true fire burned away her flesh.
After lying in a mass grave for five hundred years, her body had become a pile of bones. Fortunately, her magic remained. The first thing she did after climbing out of her coffin was find herself a face to wear.
The face belonged to a poor girl. To fit into society, Qin Zheng assumed the girl's identity. (She didn't keep it for long, though.)
