My roommate in our shared apartment can't cook, so she put up a notice on my door asking to mooch meals.
[Hi, roommate. I've been busy with work and don't have the time or know-how to cook, so I've been eating takeout for over half a month and wrecked my stomach. I saw how delicious your cooking looks, so I thought I'd ask to mooch a bite.]
At first, I thought she had it pretty rough, and that sharing a few meals wouldn't be a big deal.
But her next demands left me speechless:
[Demand 1: You need to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner from Monday to Friday, without ever slacking off. And don't make me remind you. A young woman should be diligent, or she'll never get married.]
[Demand 2: I hope you can buy me a new set of containers for the food. Disposable ones are definitely unhygienic. Just pack everything up and leave it outside my room.]
[Demand 3: I'm not very picky. Just don't use scallions, cilantro, onions, potatoes, chili oil, or soy products. Anything else is fine.]
[Demand 4: I want every meal to include three dishes and a soup, and the soup has to be pork trotter soup because I'm trying to get more protein.]
