Theater of the Strange: I Stage Murder Scenes in the City

Protagonist: Chen Ye

The Man Behind the Strange Show: Staging Murder in the City (combining the core elements of “role-playing” and “suspenseful killings”)

Once I can play any profession, I'm destined to tear apart this city that devours people.

An iron rule circulates in Jiangcheng's underworld: If you see the “Nameless One” wearing a mask that is both crying and laughing, run immediately!

Chen Ye, who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, unexpectedly awakens the “Professional Thespian” sequence:

By perfectly playing a profession (doctor/police officer/beggar/funeral director...), he can seize the pinnacle abilities of that field.

The price is death by backlash from the rules if his identity is exposed.

Dragged into a case involving the smuggling of supernatural organs, he is forced to wear layer upon layer of disguises among the various factions:

By day, he is a cleaner at a psychiatric hospital, glimpsing the memories of the dead as he wipes away bloodstains;

By night, he becomes an underground boxing champion, using bloodstained bandages to choke wanted criminals;

And on the dark web, he is the “Puppeteer,” manipulating strings and dissecting the truth...

When 360 masks become 360 blades,

he will finally perform this “God-Slaying Script” spanning thirty years.
