Main Characters
Su Nian: A young scholar who comes to the town in search of his missing father. His father was a painter who disappeared after being invited to paint at the old mansion. Clever and brave, Su Nian is skeptical about the supernatural, but for the sake of finding his father, he resolutely steps inside.
Liu Xiyue: The adopted daughter of the family that once owned the mansion. She escaped the massacre because she was away at the time. Now she has returned to uncover the truth behind what happened.
