Journey to the West: Bimawen's Defiance of Fate

Sun Wukong wore a freshly issued official uniform and a black gauze hat as he paced back and forth around the Imperial Stables, directing the grooms as they tended to the Heavenly Horses. Now that he was Bimawen, he felt that although his job in Heaven was a minor one, it was still quite enjoyable. One day, while making his usual rounds of the stables, he suddenly spotted a strange light flickering in a corner.

"Huh? What's that?" Curiosity piqued, Sun Wukong flipped over in a somersault. There on the ground lay an old, yellowed book, its cover bearing three ancient, forceful characters: "Journey to the West." Full of questions, he reached down and picked it up. The instant he touched it, the book's contents flooded into his mind like a rising tide.
