In the stairwell of the old machinery factory dormitory in the west of the city, a man is jolted awake in the middle of the night by a strange dragging sound from upstairs. Following the increasingly strong stench of blood, he climbs to the third floor and pushes open a half-closed iron door. In the moonlight, a man lies on the bed, deathly pale from head to toe. His blood has been drained and poured into three white plastic bags, neatly lined up beside the bed. On the floor is a dark, dried streak that has seeped out from beneath the door. Wearing only one slipper, he runs downstairs and screams beneath a streetlamp on the deserted Jianshe Road until his voice gives out. He doesn’t know that the room upstairs is only the first one the twin sisters have come to settle accounts in. There are eight more.
A suspenseful case, thrilling to watch, I really enjoyed it.
