Demon Child: Winning Over Ao Run and Beating Up the Immortal Elder

Mo Chen was an ordinary person, but an accident occurred when Ao Run summoned the ancestral dragon’s spirit at an altar, pulling Mo Chen into the Primordial Continent. After the summoning failed, Ao Run formed a strange bond with Mo Chen. When Mo Chen learned he was in the Primordial World during the Investiture of the Gods tribulation, he was filled with terror. Fortunately, the System awakened at a crucial moment, giving him the confidence to imagine making his mark in the Primordial World. But reality soon dragged him back to a cruel situation. Wuliang Xianweng of Yuxu Palace schemed on behalf of the Chan sect. Ao Run died saving Mo Chen, and Crane Boy, who had formed a bond with Mo Chen, was trapped by his awkward position. When Wuliang Xianweng forced him to act against Mo Chen, he chose death instead, ending his own life. Enraged, Mo Chen killed Wuliang Xianweng, drawing the attention of Yuanshi Tianzun. The Investiture of the Gods tribulation erupted in full. Mo Chen led Yang Jian and Nezha in a march on Yuxu Palace, then overturned the Celestial Court. Next came the Journey to the West tribulation. Together with Yang Jian, Nezha, and Sun Wukong, Mo Chen brought the Dao eastward and spread Daoist thought to the West. Through these adventures, Mo Chen grew from a bewildered newcomer to the Primordial World into a pivotal figure who could shape its fate, writing a legend of his own.
