Shocking! The General Is Actually Gay

The shou, a ge’er who disguises himself as a man, takes his father’s place in the army. He joins the gong in putting down a rebellion and bringing peace to the realm. As the times grow tumultuous, the two gradually fall for each other. After the war ends, the shou retires from public life. Years later, he discovers someone is following him. It turns out to be a comrade from the Shadow Guard Camp back then. When the cunning hare is dead, the hound is cooked; when a subject’s achievements overshadow his ruler, disaster follows. Their former lord has been placed under house arrest, and the shou follows his comrade to the capital without hesitation... This story contains childbirth. If that’s not your thing, please don’t read. The character settings are similar to those in my previous book; this is a world with ge’er. I write on my phone, so there may be typos sometimes. (All right, I admit it: there are a lot.) This is also the story of Chen Xian and Pei Mubai, which everyone has been looking forward to. I’ll do my best to write it well, and hope it brings you a little joy in your everyday life. The worldbuilding in this story is a little broader than in my previous book, so some place names have changed, and the timeline may differ a bit too. It won’t affect your reading.
