Demon Heaven Judge

A stormy night, the woodshed of Qingyun Sect.

Xie Jiuming curls up on a damp pile of straw, two ribs broken. That's the price he paid today for being forced by an inner disciple to "test medicine." He stares at the broken piece of black jade in his palm, still stained with blood. It was the keepsake his mother pressed into his hand on her deathbed, and now blood-red seal script is faintly appearing on it: "Judge yin and yang, seize creation, defy Heaven and change fate: you shall become the Lord of the Underworld!"
