Decades ago, an unknown catastrophe destroyed human civilization, along with all its order and achievements. Most people perished in the disaster.
The few who survived became dependent on milk to stay alive, carrying enormous milk canisters with them wherever they went.
Decades later, the world is divided into the Upper City and the Lower City. The people of the Upper City control the milk and all other resources, while the people of the Lower City survive by performing grueling labor in exchange for a small amount of milk.
Kyle, the protagonist of our story, lives in the Lower City. His peaceful life is shattered by a cruel fate. “If this damn milk is everything, then I’m going to destroy it all.”
