The Fallen Heiress Is a Bandit Chief

(Short story, goofy comedy) A funny heroine, two female leads, but each has her own love interest. Yes, they both have love interests. One is the brains, the other the brawn, and they make up for each other’s lack of education. They used to be something like rivals, though not quite. After their families fall on hard times, they reunite and somehow end up as bandits! One day, Xia Lingshuo and Lu Sijing are walking down the street when they spot a handsome, graceful young man wearing a mask. Xia Lingshuo cheekily whistles at him, then says to Lu Sijing, “See that mask? I’m going to buy one and wear it too.” Before Lu Sijing can answer, the masked young man walks over and says, “Miss, do you feel like something is missing from your life?” Curiosity gets the better of Xia Lingshuo. “Oh~ what’s missing?” The man bashfully replies, “Me~” Lu Sijing struggles to contain her laughter, her shoulders shaking as she nearly grinds her teeth to dust. Xia Lingshuo rolls her eyes and tells him, “I think you’re missing something too.” The masked man bashfully says, “Is it you I’m missing?” Xia Lingshuo gives him a knowing shake of her head. “No, you’re missing a few screws.” With that, she grabs the barely suppressing Lu Sijing and runs for it, afraid they’ll get chased down and beaten. Lu Sijing laughs as they run, then scolds her: “There’s something wrong with both of you!”
