Hong Kong Films: Reborn as an Intelligence Legend on Temple Street

Without warning, Su Chen is reborn in Temple Street, Hong Kong, in the 1980s. Beneath the dazzling neon lights, undercurrents churn. To carve out a place for himself, he must navigate the clashing powers of Temple Street’s Twelve Young Masters, A Miao, A Xie, and others, treading carefully at every step amid constant danger. Then, out of nowhere, he awakens a mysterious intelligence-reward System. The first piece of information it gives him points to an exceptionally secretive underground deal, and the reward for completing the mission is too tempting to refuse. But as he digs deeper, Su Chen discovers that the information provided by the System may conceal an unknown agenda. The more difficult the mission, the richer the reward, but the stranger the mysteries that come with it. One high-difficulty lead, for instance, points to a treasure connected to a mysterious unsolved case in Temple Street from years ago. After other missions, inexplicable pursuers appear, sending chills down Su Chen’s spine. Guided by the System, Su Chen charges ahead through Temple Street and steadily makes a name for himself, but his unease grows. Is this System a tool to help him reach the top, or a trap meant to drag him into the abyss? And can he truly become the king of Temple Street while uncovering the System’s secrets?
