After Tomorrow: I’m Just a Passing Newbie

[No System + No Transmigration + Plot-Focused]

My name is Liu Xiaoyu. I'm a survivor... more or less.

It's been three years since the infection outbreak, and I've been trapped in this city for all of them. I dealt with the infected every day, but a radio made me slip up.

I was scratched, but I didn't tell anyone, because the radio carried news of a human stronghold where anti-infection drugs were available.

So I set out with three companions to leave the city.

I never expected to be the only one to reach Happy 101. So much happened along the way, and as I explored the outside world, secrets gradually came to light.

Special infected? Heimdall's experiments on controllable infected? And... my own origins?

The world outside was so fascinating that my memories gradually began to grow jumbled.

In the infected nest, the virus's mother had not yet awakened Liu Dayu. Far away from Hope Valley, there was no city, and there was a genetic lock that could not be undone.

Was everything that had happened to me, everything I had experienced, all fake?

“But... what about her? She said she'd cook for me when I came back.”

“Back.”

I slowly turned my head, my neck cracking, only to see Rachel, tears streaming down her face, pulling the trigger with all her might.
