It's Either Black or White

[Two Male Leads | Crime Investigation | Suspense | Secret Crush | Mutual Love] [A straight-laced, poker-faced workaholic crime squad captain vs. a refined, gentle online novelist with a steadfast heart] Lian Jiang, a moderately successful writer, is innocently caught up in a murder case. At last, he meets Xiao Suo, the crime squad captain he has always admired from afar, but their first meeting takes place in an interrogation room... His name is cleared, but another case soon emerges, and once again, Lian Jiang is caught up in it. As the cases are gradually unraveled, Lian Jiang’s past comes to light alongside an unsolved case from many years ago. The truth clashes with Xiao Suo’s professional principles, and Lian Jiang’s complicated background becomes an insurmountable gulf between them... Everyone who commits a crime has their reasons. They may seem justified in their own eyes, but taking another person’s life also takes away their chance to “turn over a new leaf.” The law may take human feelings into account, but human feelings cannot take the place of the law! Perhaps there is no absolute black or white in this world. What people call right and wrong may be nothing more than their own desires and judgments.
