Noah and Ultraman Legend discovered a Cosmic Insect King cocoon at the edge of the universe. The light of the universe and the consciousness of the cosmos named the newborn Cosmic Insect King Nostico and began to teach her.
But Nostico was born with immense power, and from the moment she emerged from her cocoon, she was destined to be like the many Cosmic Insect Kings before her: a selfish, cruel ruler who treated life as no more than dust.
Even Noah and Ultraman Legend were disappointed by the cruel side of Nostico's personality. Ultraman Legend even considered giving up on teaching her.
But Noah decided to give Nostico one last chance.
Noah sealed away most of Nostico's power, sent her to Earth in another universe, and told her that the seal would only be lifted once she understood what it meant to protect and wanted to fight for that cause.
Nostico didn't care about any of that. She only knew that she was free, and that she'd acquired a human “pet” as soon as she arrived on Earth. Before long, she adopted a cat, too.
Just as Nostico was looking forward to the future, the cat suddenly died of an illness.
“Why did the kitty die?” Nostico asked her human pet.
“Because we only get one life,” her human pet patiently explained.
“But I don't want her to die.” Nostico clutched the cat's body tightly.
“Death is the most terrible separation for us. Nostico, one day I'll die, too.”
Nostico looked at her human pet. That day, she understood that life only came once...
