I Transmigrated to Five Finger Mountain and Can Hear People's Thoughts

At the start of the new year, Yang Wei visits the temple of Goddess Nüwa to pray for love. By a stroke of fate, he transmigrates. He assumes he has landed in the Investiture of the Gods, but then he sees a mountain shaped like a palm. Beneath it, he discovers a monkey: none other than the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong. He has actually transmigrated into the world of Journey to the West, and the pilgrimage is set to begin in a hundred years. To his delight, Yang Wei discovers that his golden finger lets him hear the thoughts of other living beings. He wants to become Sun Wukong’s apprentice, but the other party looks down on him completely, so he has no choice but to take an unconventional route and force Sun Wukong to teach him how to cultivate. But his aptitude is so poor that he cannot even leave the area of the Five Finger Mountain. Once Sun Wukong breaks free, he will seek revenge. How can Yang Wei avert the crisis?
