Immortal Me: Speedrunning Cultivation in the Cthulhu Mythos

Ten thousand years ago, Chu Hengzhou, who could neither die nor be destroyed, was known as the Undying Evil Fiend. All under heaven rose against him.

He was sealed away in a lightless, shadowy realm, where he endured ceaseless attempts to convert him, day and night.

Ten thousand years later, Chu Hengzhou broke free. He had meant to destroy heaven and earth and take his revenge in a frenzy, but all that met his eyes was endless terror and mutation.

The Heavenly Dao was gone. Unspeakable evil gods sat upon the clouds, and all living beings were merely their sustenance.

Beneath the clouds, people schemed against one another, while cultivators from the severed world beyond struggled to survive.

Fortunately, no matter how heaven and earth turned upside down or how the world changed, none of it could affect Chu Hengzhou, who could neither die nor be destroyed.

Faced with a world utterly unfamiliar to him, Chu Hengzhou merely smiled calmly. “Whether it’s cultivating to immortality as a mortal or cosmic-horror-style cultivation, it’s all the same to me.”

“Just watch me speedrun it!”
