The Rain Falls Softly, Without a Sound

[School life + regrets + missed chances + redemption + tragic ending + equally strong leads + tearjerker + a touch of realism]

The year she was seventeen, Ruan Qingrang felt rain falling inside her heart.

A silent rain.

Its name was Jiang Shuhan.

He was someone she hated, hated so much she didn’t know how to hate him anymore.

Jiang Shuhan was a very, very good person.

He always appeared whenever Ruan Qingrang needed him.

Jiang Shuhan was a very, very bad person.

Bad because he was too much like Ruan Qingrang.

They were equally proud, equally unwilling to yield.
