Synopsis

A snake becomes a python after a hundred years, a jiao after a thousand, and a dragon after ten thousand.

Xuan Mo had cultivated diligently for nearly ten thousand years. Just as he was about to become a jiao, he was sealed by the mountain god of Gou Xiong Ridge, the seven-colored divine deer of the Fantasy Forest, and a panda who commanded yin and yang in the distant primordial age.

He couldn't accept it.

Why?!

For ten thousand years, he had faced countless brushes with death. Humans had stood at the top since the day they were born, while lowly beasts like him struggled even to find enough to eat each day.

He wanted to grow stronger. No matter how much suffering he endured along the way, no matter how many lives he took, he would climb step by step to the very top of the world!
