The Rose That Burns

【Hot-tempered bar owner VS upright police officer】 【Slow-burn romance, sweet with a hint of bitterness】 That day, in the middle of a thick fog, Xia Nuan accidentally bumped into the back of a man’s car... She looked at his handsome face and, without the slightest embarrassment, grabbed his hand and wrote down her phone number. “Here’s my number. At the blind date, Si Bei looked at his phone. “Just as I thought, she’s a little rascal.” Xia Nuan had thought she could block him and never see him again. But then she was unexpectedly kidnapped and shot. Lying in her hospital bed, she rolled her eyes. “You can kill me, but you can’t humiliate me!” Later, tempted by money, she eagerly played along with their “role-play,” only to fall into his “swamp” before she even realized it. “Me, fall for him? What a joke! Is this some kind of game?!” It wasn’t until the man domineeringly dragged her away from a blind date that her jealousy became impossible to hide. “Did you and her do that?” Si Bei laughed. “You say one thing and mean another!” Love is innocent, but she still couldn’t help crying. Xia Nuan clutched his clothes. “Could you let him go?” Si Bei held back his pain. “No. I have to arrest him!” Years later, she leaned against his shoulder. “If I’d chosen to resent you that time, would we still have this happiness now?” Si Bei kissed her forehead. “There are no what-ifs. You’ve always been a righteous rose, fiery even with thorns…”
