In the Three Realms, newly formed from primordial chaos, an ancient and long-sealed secret history has been passed down. His people revered courage in the face of danger and overwhelming strength above all else.
In those days, Sun Wukong, Bai Jingjing, and the Bull Demon King set off a great upheaval. Sun Wukong and Bai Jingjing mysteriously vanished, while the Bull Demon King left in despair. The demon kings of the Three Realms were sealed away by powerful magic, but this was only the prelude to an even greater catastrophe.
The Asura clan seized the moment to rise and launched a fierce assault on the Celestial Realm. The Asura King slew the Queen Mother of the West. With her dying breath, she used a forbidden spell to divide his power, but his ambition remained undiminished. Drawing on the power of the Asura Purgatory, the Asura King declared war on the Sea Realm and crushed it, splitting the ocean into four and creating the Four Seas. He then conspired with a centurion in the Netherworld, wiping out its elite forces, and personally killed the leader of the Spirit Clan, igniting a bloody conflict.
As his power waned, the Asura King devoured Nuwa, sparking a rebellion among the Nuwa clan. He forced people to forge weapons to make up for his own shortcomings, but his misdeeds provoked the wrath of Heaven. Jin Chanzi led monks in summoning the Buddha, and the entire Asura clan was sealed inside the Demon-Locking Pagoda. Though the Asura King gravely wounded Jin Chanzi, he still managed to find a sliver of hope for survival.
The story opens with the Asura King's resurrection, once again stirring up turmoil across the Three Realms. A new struggle for the Three Realms begins, with secrets and conspiracies unknown to all hidden behind it.
