People use the internet to learn about the world and encounter all kinds of information. But the internet also distorts the truth by cutting out context, taking words out of context, and making things up.
Most people live within a small radius, and their personal worlds are limited. Yet through the internet, they can see the customs and cultures of places all over the world, making their own worlds bigger. At the same time, algorithms mean people often see only what they want to see online, and the world grows smaller and smaller.
An ID is everyone’s mask online. When people log in with their IDs, they also take off their masks. That is when they are most truly themselves. The internet is more real than the real world.

When every car is driving the wrong way, perhaps you’re the only one going the right way.
Was I unaffected, or was I the only one affected? Zhou Wen realized in terror that those who keep their eyes open are the hardest to wake.
It looks really good when you look at it from behind
