Chronicles of the Human Ancestor's Origin

The Great Dao spans the Nine Provinces, yet the world’s people are all consumed by petty gain. A thousand years of cultivation, and still no fruit. Now I head for the Yellow Springs, joining the ranks of foolish ghosts. Wronged, betrayed, abandoned, deceived by one another... It turns out the world of cultivation has long been dead, and dead beyond all hope. Its surface vitality is nothing but an illusion, while beneath it, the breath of death still runs wild. Fang Yang, the Dao Ancestor’s last disciple, was framed by the Heavenly Emperors. His beloved betrayed him, and all living beings reviled him... With no other choice, he severed the foundations of his Heavenly Dao, leaving him beyond reincarnation and barred from rebirth... As his life and cultivation faded, he left behind a final line: “Know that in my youth I aspired to reach the clouds, and vowed to be the finest man beneath the heavens!” The world is ever-changing. The Dao Ancestor, his master, used his heaven-reaching powers and the Taiji Diagram to send Fang Yang into rebirth. Thus, the Immortal Realm’s Nine Domains lost a quasi-emperor with power and insight beyond the heavens, and gained a boy burdened by karma. See how the young Fang Yang joins with the Dao across the Nine Domains, proves his Dao across the Eight Wilds, and walks once more down this long and treacherous path...
