Britain, France, and other nations use their advanced guns and cannons to blast open the gates of the Great Qing again and again. The unequal treaties they impose, ceding territory and paying reparations, are like handing over our crystal defense towers to the enemy. At court, some officials do nothing to earn their positions, while others scheme against one another. They’re like teammates in the bottom and middle lanes who ignore their matchups and focus only on infighting, with no regard for the bigger picture. As for logistical support, or economic development, it’s been made a complete mess, like a support who refuses to ward or protect teammates, leaving the whole team in dire straits.
