In 2050, the world economy is thriving, but bloodshed and death lie behind its prosperity. Decades of development have made the Xia Kingdom powerful, and Earth is now dominated by three great powers: the Xia Kingdom, the Soviet Union, and the United States. But on the distant continent of Africa, the United States' interference has set the nations against one another, and even the once-peaceful regions of North and South Africa are engulfed in constant warfare. Gu Yan, a retired officer from the Xia Kingdom, abandons his family business and sets off for Africa alone. Through his own efforts, he carves out a place for himself, builds an armed force, and conquers city after city.
