Zhao Yu and the Great Song Empire

Zhao Yu, a 21st-century student and first-year graduate student in the history department at Chuannan University, was visiting an archaeological dig to observe and learn when he accidentally touched a portrait from the Northern Song era. In an instant, he was transported back to the Northern Song and possessed the body of another Zhao Yu. This Zhao Yu was the seventh son of Emperor Huizong of Song and the historical Prince Ji. The transmigrated Zhao Yu used his identity to obtain his own fief. When the Jin army invaded southward, he rescued his “mother,” then reclaimed lost territory, occupied the region south of the Yellow River, and destroyed the Jin Dynasty. After unifying the country, Zhao Yu vigorously developed the navy, subdued Goryeo, launched campaigns against Japan and Vietnam, and marched into Central Asia, realizing his dream of a unified China.
