Synopsis

More than two hundred years ago, humanity discovered the remains of an alien civilization at the edge of the solar system, and Earth entered a new age. Using alien technology, several of the world's great powers built cities of comfort to serve as experimental cities for applying alien power. Anyone whose brain-cell count meets the required threshold can obtain citizen status and enjoy priority access to alien technology. Gao Cheng was born with an intellectual disability but grew up in one of these cities. After accidentally being injected with a gene-altering drug, he was transformed by alien technology, only to be invaded by another “Gao Cheng.” Thus began his path of evolution. Step by step, he uncovers the secrets of the universe's civilizations and moves toward the ultimate “Convergence Point.” (They found the remains, but not a single trace of alien life. That makes no scientific sense at all...) A completely original world, not fan fiction. No System, no clearly defined genre. It breaks the mold and only gets better as it goes. This novel leans toward mystery and combat. It starts with alien technology, but the main plot is not a conflict between Earth and an alien civilization. Later, it explores clashes between multiple civilizations, including those built around technology, cultivation, and demons, as well as higher-dimensional life forms. If there really is an alien civilization, what would it look like? Why do these civilizations exist? This book will make me think about the universe. It's funny, creative, fantasy, and logically reasonable. It's worth reading. It's not a particularly rigorous science fiction, but it's not Marvel's super-logical supernatural novels either. It's just that the updates are a bit slow.
