Ni Haixia Talks About "The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic"

Professor Ni Haixia from Soochow University in Taiwan gave a detailed interpretation of the traditional Chinese medicine classic "Huangdi Neijing". "The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic" is one of the four classics of traditional Chinese medicine and the earliest existing medical classic in my country's medical treasure house. "Huangdi Neijing" is a masterpiece of theoretical medicine that studies human physiology, pathology, diagnosis, treatment principles and pharmacology. In theory, the "Yin Yang and Five Elements Theory", "Pulse Theory", "Zang Xiang Theory", "Meridians Theory", "Etiology Theory", "Pathogenesis Theory", "Symptoms", "Diagnosis Methods", "Treatment", "Health Science", "Luck Science" and other theories in traditional Chinese medicine have been established. Medicine is discussed from a holistic view and presents a "holistic medical model" of nature, biology, psychology and society. "Huangdi Neijing" is divided into two parts: "Lingshu" and "Suwen". Its basic theoretical material comes from ancient Chinese people's long-term observation of life phenomena, a large number of clinical practices and simple anatomical knowledge; it is the crystallization of the wisdom accumulated by ancient Chinese people in the long-term practice of nature, society and survival in the process of constantly understanding the world and human beings. It has laid the foundation for the understanding of human physiology, pathology, diagnosis and treatment. It is a medical work with great influence in China and is known as the ancestor of medicine.
