Xuan Ling was the eldest daughter of the Xuan family, one of the five great families in the capital, until her family was wiped out. Just as she was about to be killed, a Shadow from the Night Hunters saved her and trained her to become a top assassin. She later avenged her family, but her master was killed by the new leader of another assassin organization, the Silver Blade Assassins. Xuan Ling avenged her master, then the Night Hunters learned about the necklace and sent assassins to hunt her down. She eventually escaped back to China, only to be betrayed by her childhood sweetheart. Just as she was about to die, the necklace on her chest began to glow, and she transmigrated to the world of Monitor Men, becoming a female AI Glasses Person.
