This is a short story, a work with a military theme. Russian Alkagi Babchink once had experience as a military reporter. Through first-person writing techniques, he vividly depicts the cruel reality of the Russian military operations in Chechnya that took place in the 1990s, as well as the psychological and physical trauma that the war caused to people, as well as the incurable trauma to their families and surrounding people, by shaping the experiences and life-and-death tribulations of me and my comrades in the war.
