Qin Man married Lu Ziming in a whirlwind wedding to get the two hundred thousand yuan she needed to save her life.
Lu Ziming, meanwhile, was nursing a broken heart and married Qin Man on impulse, out of spite.
After they married, Qin Man worked hard and never complained, but everyone in the Lu family was cold and heartless. They ignored everything she did and even tried to kill her.
As Lu Ziming's wealth grew, so did his desires. He rekindled his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, carrying on with her behind Qin Man's back and leaving his wife neglected.
Worse still, when gambling debts left Lu Ziming drowning in debt, he plotted to make Qin Man's death look like an accident so he could collect a huge insurance payout.
When Qin Man's family demanded an explanation, Lu Ziming used his connections to frame her younger brother, Qin Zhong, and send him to prison. Her mother died with a grudge in her heart.
Qin Man survived against all odds. Disguised and reborn, she returned for revenge.
And then he came striding toward her like a ray of light…
