Mu Yan was one of Sheng Yiran's few childhood companions. After an accident, Mu Yan lost all memories from before the age of five, and Sheng Yiran, far away in Country M, lost every lead connected to Mu Yan.
Twenty years later, Sheng Yiran returned to the country and began his search. The road was full of twists and turns, and when Mu Yan's background was revealed, it brought a tangled web of love and hate to light.
Sheng Yiran became her devoted protector, staying by Mu Yan's side as she made her way through hardship and toward happiness.
