Ling Feng, a celebrated entrepreneur and leading figure in the business world, is found dead in his study on a quiet morning. His suicide note says he took his own life because of work pressure, but the young detective Shen Qing notices a string of anomalies: Ling Feng’s phone contains an unsent text with a string of mysterious numbers hidden inside; the people close to the deceased seem to be keeping dark secrets; and a chain in the study appears to conceal a story that cannot be told.
