Kongsang of the Six Realms

“Beneath the divine temple, the whole city is in turmoil.” An ensemble Eastern fantasy set in an imagined world, for readers of all genders, featuring coming-of-age, past lives and present lives, extraordinary talents, and much more. The second book in the Six Realms Trilogy: Six Realms: Kong Sang. The series publication order is 2 → 1 → 3. When heaven and earth first came into being, only the ancient gods existed in the world, living in the Upper Clear Divine Realm. The ancient gods had incredibly long lifespans. After millions of years, they created living beings, and the Mortal Realm and Demon Realm came into existence one after another. When living beings died with their obsessions unresolved, they entered the underworld as ghosts. In its early days, the underworld had no order, and ghosts could disrupt the fates of mortals. Unable to bear seeing living beings slaughter one another, five ancient gods descended to the mortal world in succession: the Demon God, Water God, Sword God, War God, and Feather God. Four Fiends, dissatisfied with the five ancient gods' rule over the Demon Realm, discovered in ancient books that an ancient demon race existed in the world, sealed away in the Land of Chaos, whose power rivaled that of the ancient gods. To their surprise, this place truly existed. The Four Fiends broke through the barrier. The barrier fell, and the ancient demons emerged. Joined by the Demon Realm, they attacked the Mortal Realm, plunging the world into chaos. The ancient gods descended in droves, and the war between gods and demons began. The ancient demons and the Demon Realm had the numbers on their side. As the ancient gods began to show signs of defeat, the Moon God sacrificed herself to force open the path of reincarnation and revive the Sword God, the main force in battle. The ancient gods turned defeat into victory. The ancient demon race was all but wiped out, with only the second-generation demon clan left, sealed away in the Land of Chaos...
