A Rose in the Woods

[A short story that starts sweet and ends angsty~] Childhood sweethearts grew up together, only to drift apart for one reason after another. Yet the rose planted in the woods remained standing. “Jiang Jingqing, the rose you gave me will never wilt, but why did you...” A woman in elegant clothes stood before the cold tombstone, her expression blank, dried tears streaking her cheeks. After he died, she returned to the place where they had once spent time together and found a letter he had left for her: “Qingchu, you’re the only one I’ve ever loved.”
