Ninefold Violet: Zhao Mo Shengli

Zhao, Mo, Sheng, and Li: Four Together (Not a love quadrangle, but family, friendship, and romance) A new character has been added, and she's paired with the crown prince to help Zhao and Mo get together. Original female lead: Cui Li, the ninth daughter of the Cui family. She is frank, lively, perceptive, and carefree. Her father is the nephew of Dou Zhao's maternal grandmother, and her mother is Jiang Lansun, the youngest sister of the Duke of Dingguo. After her mother died, she was cared for by her maternal uncle, the Duke of Dingguo, and her aunt, the Duchess of Yingguo. Though the Cui family didn't value her, she was free to live as she pleased. She grew up alongside Dou Zhao at her great-aunt's estate (her paternal grandmother's estate), and their circumstances were quite similar. Years ago in Lizhen, Cui Li unknowingly saved the Crown Prince, Zhu Yousheng. Thinking he was a wandering hero who shared her feelings, she planned to bring him to meet her great-aunt. But when she learned his true identity, she took the initiative to sever ties with him. Later, she returned to the capital because of the Duke of Dingguo case. Cui Li has let go of the past. Nothing matters more than freedom and being herself. But the Crown Prince has never been able to let go. Plotlines: Going up against the Duke of Yingguo (in this version, her mother was rescued), taking on the Dou family, taking on the Cui family, investigating the Duke of Dingguo case, and the push and pull between her and the Crown Prince... Making up for some regrets I personally had about the original drama.
