Li Xingqiu, a rising star in Kyoto’s business world, suddenly announced his engagement to the Xu family of Harbor City.
It happened just as the Xu family was falling into decline and their eldest daughter had been cruelly jilted.
His lavish, three-hundred-million-yuan wedding left everyone shaking their heads: Young Master Li must be blind to choose a woman who’d already been cast aside.
But no one knew she was the cinnabar mole in his heart.
Young Master Li of Kyoto had a cool, aloof face and a pair of charming, peach-blossom eyes.
His gaze was tender, and there was no one in the world quite like him.
Just one look was enough to make Xu Qingyu fall for him.
She pursued him relentlessly, and somehow managed to bring the handsome man home.
Beneath a tree on the hill behind their school, she pinned him against the trunk and teased him until his peach-blossom eyes reddened, only then letting him go.
Li Xingqiu had always been aloof. Though he had a pair of enchanting eyes, people still hesitated to approach him.
Yet after they married, the media caught Young Master Li on one knee, cradling his wife’s foot in his hands and carefully drying it. The outside world had called them a “marriage in name only.”
He even spent tens of billions putting on an exhibition for his wife.
Someone asked him, “Is she really worth all this?”
Li Xingqiu simply smiled, looking at the beauty sleeping peacefully in his arms, his peach-blossom eyes gleaming.
“For her, everything is worth it.”
A conventional story of the kind I like, following the characters from school into adulthood.
A cozy little novella, more or less.
The school-days portion won’t be long, and will appear as flashbacks in the story.
The main focus is their married life after reuniting following a long separation~
One-on-one romance, with both of them faithful in body and heart.
Content warning: The male lead isn’t exactly a good person in the absolute sense, so proceed with caution.
