Ruo Su was born into a scholarly family and had a gentle disposition.

The first time she met Huo Qingyan, he pulled a fake accident on her.

Huo Qingyan: “We're getting married today. If you say no, my old man will tear my house down.”

After they married.

Huo Qingyan: “We have to kiss and cuddle every day, and sleep in the same bed.”

Ruo Su: “???”

Huo Qingyan: “We're putting on a show for my old man.”

But as they kept up the act, Ruo Su began to realize something was off. By then, the seeds of love had already taken root in her heart.

One day, Ruo Su found a painting she'd made in college in the bottom drawer of his study. It seemed he'd treasured it for a long time.

She couldn't help wondering why.

Then she saw Huo Qingyan being interviewed by the media.

Facing the cameras, he was composed, his naturally proud gaze and bearing unmistakable.

Reporter: “Everyone knows you're the Second Master of the Huo family. Now all of Fengcheng calls you ‘Master Ten.’ Could you tell us why?”

Huo Qingyan raised his eyes. The defiance in them faded, and he answered slowly, with utmost seriousness:

“Because I've been paying close attention to her since high school.”

“I fell in love with Mrs. Huo ten years ago.”

It turned out he'd fallen for her when she was still a girl.

After they married, he gradually led her into losing her heart to him.
