A Demon’s Pact, Paid Back in Love

(Don't follow this, it's been dropped)

Shangjing Ji never got to enjoy the benefits of wishing to be popular with the opposite sex. Instead, he has to pay the price for making that wish for years.

Given the body of a demon, Shangjing Ji teams up with the demon Yujian Huimeng, a hardcore Japanese ACG addict, to work off his debt through a job called "Romance Repayment."

In his previous life, he was a twenty-six-year-old office worker. Now he has to enter another world on a past timeline and experience a "youthful romance" for the first time.

According to the demon, who places great importance on "cause and effect," this is also Shangjing Ji's wish.

(This story contains a lot of Japanese-related trivia, as well as plenty of Japanese-style deadpan jokes and Japanese wordplay, so it's best suited to readers with some knowledge of Japanese. Illustrations are included; view the "Author's Note" at the end of each chapter on a mobile device.)
